Central Mountain Region, Israel (Mop HaHar)
Israeli Agricultural Research and Development is
set up by regions, each defined by different
geography and climate.
The central mountain region (Mop HaHar) comprises four regional councils: Shomron, Binyamin, Gush Etzion and Har Hevron.
Mop HaHar's mission is to serve our farmers in a reliable
and dedicated fashion, in order to promote their professional
and economic advancement.
Mop HaHar conducts scientific research in order to serve the
practical and daily needs of our farmers.
Mop HaHar's Goals:
- To develop new agricultural products
- To research new high-value crops for niche markets
- To educate young people in modern agriculture
- To spread knowledge about new ideas in farming
We welcome cooperation and exchange of ideas with farmers and researchers from around the world.
